Irish eyes are smiling in New England

Driving around the 46-acre Irish Cultural Centre of New England on a golf cart, executive director Sean Grant sees himself sitting in a hotbed of Irish culture.

This weekend, when an estimated 45,000 people are expected to descend on the campus off Route 138 in Canton for the center's ICONS Festival, a three-day ode to Irish culture and music, Grant expects the center will receive a much-needed financial boost.
