Pork chop sales benefit revitalization

The Main Street Eldorado Revitalization Committee was holding its monthly Pork Chop Dinner from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Old City Hall.

The dinner is held on the third Wednesday of each month.

By 1 p.m. the volunteers at the dinner had served 90 customers and expected reach 150 by the end of the day.

Watson says the secret to good grilled pork chops is baking them at low heat after grilling.

"They are so tender," she said.

The proceeds from the dinner go to help revitalize the downtown area.
