ELDORADO -- Eldorado Superintendent Gary Siebert gave chilling news on possible future state aid for Illinois schools during Tuesday night’s meeting.
HARRISBURG-- During a special building renovation meeting of the Unit No. 3 School Board Tuesday evening, board members began to reconsider moving forward with plans to demolish a portion of Harrisburg High School known as “C” building. The board has been planning to rebuild that portion of the school with funds from the 1-percent sales tax referendum that passed in the recent primary election.
HARRISBURG-- During Tuesday night's regular meeting of the Unit No. 3 School Board, Superintendent Dennis Smith delivered some upsetting news regarding the financial status of the state and how it may affect the school district.

HARRISBURG -- A Florida man passed through Harrisburg yesterday on his way to San Francisco.
HARRISBURG-- Harrisburg STORM has announced they currently have seven trained case management teams working in areas of the city that were affected by the Feb. 29 tornado. Team members are carrying credentials identifying themselves as STORM case managers.

HARRISBURG-- Boston butts are being sold today in the Harrisburg Walmart parking lot to benefit the Harrisburg Fraternal Order of Police and their annual Shop With a Cop event, which aims to provide Christmas gifts to children in Saline County who may not otherwise receive anything.
HARRISBURG-- It was Christmas in May at West Side School Tuesday morning thanks to a group of dedicated Santas from Santa America. Three Santas and Mrs. Claus distributed toys and stuffed animals to every pre-kindergarten through second grade student.
