Friday high-speed pursuit ends in Grayville
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[A Lawrence County man faces numerous preliminary charges after he fled Edwards County law enforcement Friday night and went into Grayville, where he rammed a Grayville Police Department squad car, according to police.
A Grayville Police Department incident report identified the suspect as Zachary J. Pruitt, 20, of 16765 Hadley Road, Sumner.
The report said Albion officers and Edwards County deputies began the pursuit in Edwards County and it turned southbound on Red Hill Blacktop on Albion's west side off state Route 15. As it continued southbound, assistance was requested from Grayville officers.
Officer Jess Burley joined the pursuit west of Grayville near the local landmark known as Baker's Garage at the intersection of Red Hill Blacktop and White County Road 2600 North. The pursuit proceeded eastbound toward Grayville. Burley said in his report that as the report entered Grayville, the speed of the fleeing vehicle was 115 m.p.h.
