Jurors have begun their seventh day of deliberations at the corruption trial of former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich.
There’s no indication Thursday if jurors are close to a verdict.
They have sent two notes to presiding Judge James B. Zagel. The last was nearly a week ago, when they asked for transcripts of testimony.
Blagojevich and his brother, Tennessee businessman Robert Blagojevich, have pleaded not guilty to charges that include trying to sell or trade an appointment to President Barack Obama’s former Senate seat and illegally pressuring people for campaign donations.
The jury began deliberating last week, after Rod Blagojevich’s attorneys declined to call any witnesses, saying the government hadn’t proved its case.
