Motsinger, Wright lead Harrisburg grapplers

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[The Harrisburg High School wrestling team posted an eighth place finish at Lawrence County on Saturday.

The 13-team invitational was won by Marion with Robinson, Mount Carmel, West Frankfort and Carmi rounding out the top five in the field. Host Lawrenceville finished sixth.

The young Bulldogs received outstanding performances from Masen Motsigner and Kody Wright, each finished in third place in their respective weight class.

Motsinger defeated Dakota Thompson of Olney at the 119 weight class, clinching the victory with a pinfall. Wright defeated Alec Meler of West Frankfort with a pinfall victory as well in the 103 weight class.

Harrisburg returns to the mats on Tuesday at Marion.
