"The kids have been working hard in practice and we are making strides toward improving each match," head coach Greg Langley said. "We still have a ways to go, especially with our offense from neutral, but as long as we continue to improve I can't complain."

The Bulldogs earned seven pinfall victories against Pinckneyville en route to a 57-24 victory. Nine Bulldogs earned wins via pin against only in a 66-14 win. Dylan Davis earned a default victory at the 171 weight class. In Harrisburg's 53-26 victory, the Bulldogs picked up five wins via forfeit, and four more by virtue of pinfall.

"This season so far has been a learning experience for our younger kids. We have to continue to get mat time in to gain experience for our young team," Langley said. "The kids have responded with a great work ethic thus far and seem to be having fun at the same time."

The Bulldogs will get some more mat time on Tuesday as they travel to Anna-Jonesboro.
