Taylor Fletcher from Marion was the game 1 winning pitcher allowing only 1 earned run and struck out 6. Crab Orchard's Brendee Killen was the game 2 winner throwing three shutout innings in relief as SIC came from 7 down to win in 5 innings. First game catcher and Nashville product Lacey Gill had 3 hits and 4 RBI's on the day.
Allyson Corry from Carlyle was the other hitting star going 4-4 with 2 sacifice flies on the day.
