Golf Roundup: Eagles get victory over Vienna

Eldorado's Canon Weatherly and Austin Collins shared medalist honors as the duo each fired a 41, helping Eldorado to a victory over Vienna Friday at Saline County Country Club.

The Eagles shot a 181, beating Vienna (203) by 22 strokes. Zeigler-Royalton participated as well, but did not field enough to qualify for a team score.

The Eagles (5-9) also got a 44 from Nic Stanford, while Eli Hankins carded a 55. Grayson Conley rounded out the team scoring with a 71.

<b>Bulldogs win triangular at Carmi-White County</b>

Led by Evan McDermott's 38, the Harrisburg boys' golf team took a triangular match against Carmi-White County and Norris City-Omaha-Enfield Thursday on the road.

McDermott, a junior, took medalist honors as Harrisburg shot a 164, finishing 17 strokes ahead of Carmi-White County (181), while NCOE finished with a 200.

Grant Wilson shot a 39 for Harrisburg, while Brent Lawrence carded a 41 and Ashton Hall rounded out the team scoring with a 46. Hayden Emery finished with a 47 and Ethan Golish brought in a 51.

<b>McClusky paces Harrisburg to win at CWC</b>

Madison McClusky grabbed medalist honors with a 37 as Harrisburg shot a 186 to beat Carmi-White County (232) in a dual match Thursday.

The Bulldogs also got a 45 from Frankie Leigh Nicholes, while Gracie Behnke carded a 46 and Hannah Jones brought in a 58.

Other scores for Harrisburg included a 61 from Jaci Robinson and a 68 from Laura Behnke.

Elleigh Gray had a low round 53 for Carmi-White County.
