Eldorado girls wins 17th straight

The Eldorado girls' basketball team ended the regular season just like they have their last 17 games - with a win.

Eldorado knocked off Mt. Carmel 67-52 and finished the regular season at 25-3 after winning the Black Diamond Conference regular season championship.

The Eagles put four players in double figures as Paige Munds had a game-high 18 points, while Lily Mosby scored 16 points. Lexie Mitchell tacked on 13 points and Emma Wargel tossed in 11 points.

Karis Lane added eight points and Kylee Oglesby finished with a free throw, where EHS went 25-of-32 from the charity stripe.

<b>Eldorado 65, Edwards County 25</b>

Eldorado won the Black Diamond Conference championship, finishing 9-1 in league play, with a 65-25 victory at Edwards County Thursday night.

Eldorado won the BDC title for the first time since 2014, when they were crowned co-champions.

The Eagles (25-3) put four players in double figures as Wargel scored a game-high 16 points. Karis Lane finished with 15 points and Munds tacked on 14 points, while Mitchell tossed in 12 to finish in double figures.

Mosby scored seven points and Lily Gangard tossed in a free throw.
