Eldorado goes 3-1 at Merry Mule

The Eldorado girls' basketball team left the Fairfield Merry Mule Tournament with a 3-1 finish, notching wins over Mt. Carmel, Woodlawn and the Fairfield JV team, while the Eagles' only loss came to Lawrenceville.

In the 69-49 win over Mt. Carmel, the Eagles put five players in double figures as Emma Wargel led the charge with 18 points. Karis Lane tacked on 13 points, while Lexi Mitchell tacked on 12 points. Paige Munds and Lilly Mosby each tossed in 11 points, while Alexa Haenel finished with four points.

The Aces finished with three players in double figures.

Eldorado earned a 45-32 win over Woodlawn and in the 53-18 win over Fairfield's junior varsity team, Munds had a team-high 14 points, while Mosby also finished in double figures with 11 points.

Mitchell added eight points, while Wargel finished with five points. Lane and Emilee Sigler each had four points, while Kaylee Oglesby tacked on three points and MiKayla Rash had a free throw.

Eldorado's only loss came in the form of a 70-43 loss to Lawrenceville, where Mitchell led all scorers with 19 points. Mosby tossed in 10 points, while Lane added eight points and Munds scored six points.
