Harrisburg gets to .500 with win over Carterville

The Harrisburg girls' soccer team evened its season record to 5-5 with a 3-2 win at home against Carterville Thursday.

Devin Butler led the Bulldogs with a pair of goals and one assist, while Josie Drone scored the other goal and had two assists for Harrisburg.

Angela Colby played goal and had three saves in the win.

Harrisburg was scheduled to return to action Monday at Carbondale. Also, the Bulldogs will host Anna-Jonesboro Wednesday and will close out the week in the Fralish Cup, held at Carbondale High School Friday and Saturday.
