Eldorado falls to Carmi at buzzer

Julia Smith hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer as Carmi-White County knocked off Eldorado 50-48 in the first game of the Harrisburg Invitational Monday night.

Smith had a game-high 30 points, including six 3-pointers and went 4-for-5 at the line. Sydney Lucas has 15 points for the Bulldogs to join Smith in double figures. Carmi's only other points came from Mayci Edwards, who finished with five points.

Eldorado also had two players score double figures as Lilly Mosby scored 16 points and Paige Munds tacked on 13 points.

Emma Wargel added eight points for EHS (0-2), while Lacey Hobbs scored six points. Jade Hise tossed in three points and Mikayla Rash finished with two points.
