Fairfield rolls past CZR in game called off at intermission

Stormy weather and a superior opponent made for a difficult night for the Christopher/Zeigler-Royalton Bearcats.

In a game moved up to Thursday because of predicted storms for Friday, the visiting Mules of Fairfield took the contest by a score of 52-0. The contest was stopped at the half by mutual agreement due to weather and field condition concerns.

Dylan Heifner, Tanner Garrison and Wyatt Gilbert each contributed scores to the Fairfield tally.

Once again turnovers hurt the Bearcats.

At the conclusion of the game CZR head coach Anthony Hargrove said, "I'm at a loss for words. Gotta just keep fighting."

Next up for the Bearcats are the visiting Lions of Edwards County.
