Middle School Softball: EMS wins 9 inning thriller over Pope County

Emma Wargel stuck out 24 batters in nine innings of work as the Eldorado Middle School softball team edged Pope County 3-2 Wednesday.

Warble allowed two runs (one earned) on four hits with no walks, while her opposition, Pope County's Emma Collier threw a no hitter, striking out 17 batters.

Eldorado's Lexie Mitchell and Kylie Oglesby each had RBI, scoring Cydnee Van Zandt, Kaitlyn Mayberry and Wargel in the win.
