Prep T&F: Buchanan sets PR in high jump

It was another personal-best day for Harrisburg's Bryleigh Buchanan at Monday's Harrisburg Invitational.

The sophomore won first place in the high jump, clearing 5-foot-3, which is a PR for her.

The other top finish for the Harrisburg girls' track and field team went to Franchesca Laurencio, who took third place in the 400 meters, crossing the line at 1:06.

Laurencio ran the 200 meters in a time of 34.2, while Aruniti Manawa had a time of 34.2 in the same race.

Manama then had a time of 18.8 in the 100 meters, while Stephanie Chambers finished in 18.2.

Tiffanie Milligan had a time of 3:09 and 6:58 in the 800 meters and 1600 meters.

Devin Jones had a toss of 35-feet-10 in the shot put, while Makayla McBrian had a have of 28-feet-3.

In the shot put, Jones threw 66-feet-10 and Arianna Boma had a toss of 65-feet-2.
