Prep Baseball: Eagles fend off Fairfield; Harrisburg tops Pinckneyville on the road

Max Kasiar stood in line to pick up a Black Diamond Conference win for Eldorado Thursday on the road, as the Eagles fended off Fairfield 10-9.

Kasiar, a junior, went six innings and allowed seven runs on six hits, while striking out three and walking six.

Joe Mayberry worked one inning of relief work, allowing two runs (one earned) on two hits.

At the plate, Eldorado out-hit the mules 12-8 as Stanton Hathaway was 3-for-3 with three runs scored and an RBI.

Kale Oglesby, Trey Vessel, Josh Pilkington and Kasiar all had multiple hit games as Pilkington and Kasiar each had a home run. Kasiar and Pilkington each knocked in three runs, while Kasiar scored two, and Pilkington scored one. Oglesby had two RBI for Eldorado.

Adam Ninness, who despite going 0-for-3, scored two runs, while Mayberry scored one run.

Dalton Lambert pitched a complete game performance, striking out 12 as Harrisburg earn a non-conference win over Pinckneyville Friday on the road.

Noah Vallette had a home run and drove in five, while Jordan Gould, Austin Hefner and Presley Gouch all had three hits for the Bulldogs.
