Prep Hoops: Eagles hammer Hamilton Co.

It was a slow start for Eldorado Friday at home against Black Diamond Conference rival Hamilton County, but in the end it was all Eagles as they soared to a 55-36 win Friday at Duff-Kingston Gymnasium.

Eldorado's Clay Boulds led all scorers with 19 as the Eagles got another 15 from Ethan Partridge, who snapped a string of losses at last week's West Frankfort Mid-Winter Classic.

Eldorado head coach Josh Bradley said a big talking point in practice this week has been stressing a all for one and one for all attitude and was pleased with the overall effort he got from his Eagles.

"Clay Boulds and Ethan Partridge really dominated the paint both offensively and defensively. I thought Kale (Oglesby) did a really good job for his first home start this year and guys like (Max) Kasiar and (Adam) Ninness set the tone defensively in the second half and did an outstanding job on (Oakley) Dial.

Dial finished with seven points for the Foxes, who got a team-high 16 points from Jake Whipple.

Eldorado got six points from Max Kasiar and another five points from Adam Ninness. John Meredith finished with four points, while Kale Oglesby, Jacob Traxler and Stanton Hathaway all had two points.
