Myrtle Bennett, 89, a resident of Garden Valley Manor, Kansas City, Kan., formerly of Dahlgren, died 4:30 a.m. Sunday, July 5, 2009.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2009, at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with the Rev. Robert Sefried officiating. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Dahlgren. Visitation is 10 a.m. to service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
She was the widow of Bill Bennett. She is survived by a son, two daughters, a daughter-in-law, a son-in-law, five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a special friend.
