Rodney Lee Johnson

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Rodney Lee Johnson, 48, of Harrisburg passed away at 4:20 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22, 2010, at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion.

He was born Nov. 15, 1961, in Harrisburg to Rodney Johnson and Flora Mae (Killman) Johnson. He married Lisa Golish on April 12, 1986, and she survives.

Rodney was a mechanic at Hale&#39;s Automotive in Marion. He enjoyed woodworking, and was a skilled carpenter and enjoyed the outdoors. He was crazy about his dogs, Casey Jo and Chipper Lee. He loved spending time with great-nieces, Gabby and Bella. He spent a lot of time volunteering and helping others. He attended Dorrisville Baptist Church.

Surviving family members include his wife, Lisa Johnson of Harrisburg; mother, Flora Johnson of Harrisburg; sister, Martha Ann (John) Armes of Tampa, Fla.; four nieces and nephews, Krystal (Daniel) Dooley, Joshua (Christine) Golish, Jennifer (David) Nelson and John Michael Armes; many cousins, aunts and uncles; and several great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 25, 2010, at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg. The Rev. Dewayne Taylor and the Rev. Jerry Wells officiated. Burial will follow in Sunset Lawn Cemetery. Visitation was from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010, at Reed Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
