James Easter Reynolds

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[James Easter Reynolds, 81, Harrisburg, passed away at 6:37 a.m. Friday, May 13, 2011, at Western Baptist Hospital, Paducah, Ky.

He was born on April 20, 1930, in Pope County, the son of Jesse and Edith (Butler) Reynolds. He married Nita Hancock on June 2, 1951, and she survives in Harrisburg. He was a retired quality control analyst for IBM and a member of Dorrisville Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife, Nita, James is survived by a daughter, Julia and husband Ron Meschko of Denver, Colo.; daughter, Jennifer and husband Gary Bintliff of Naples, Fla.; four grandchildren, Lindsey and husband Mike Allen of Naples, Fla., Jacob and wife Taracina Bintliff of Colorado Springs, Colo., Jamie Bintliff of Colorado Springs, Colo. and Alison Meschko of Denver, Colo.; two great-grandchildren, John and Kate Allen of Naples, Fla.; two sisters, Bea and husband George Koster and Phillis and husband Leroy Hicks; two brothers, Jonah and wife Doris Reynolds and Calvin and wife Eileen Reynolds.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Genevieve Alvey.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 19, 2011, at Dorrisville Baptist Church in Harrisburg. The Rev. Dewayne Taylor will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2011, at Dorrisville Baptist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dorrisville Baptist Church Music Department.
