</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Robert Foreman DeForest, 86, McLeansboro, died 1:58 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010, at Good Samaritan Hospital, Mount Vernon.

A private family burial of ashes will take place at a later date. Arrangements are in the charge of Harre Funeral Home, McLeansboro. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2010 at St. James Episcopal Church in McLeansboro.

He is survived by his wife, the former Kyveli Papasoglou; three daughters; a son; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; a sister; and numerous nieces and nephews.
