Clifford R. McFarlin

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Mr. Clifford R. McFarlin, 95, of Eldorado, passed away at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 5, 2009 at Ferrell Hospital.

He was the widower of Helen (Hornick) McFarlin.

Clifford was born in Harrisburg on March 5, 1914, the son of the late Herman and Laura (Ellison) McFarlin.

He served in the U.S. Army in World War II. He worked as a concrete finisher for Western Electric before retirement. He was a member of the Eldorado VFW.

Clifford is survived by three daughters, Pat McFarlin of Eldorado, Margaret Osban of California and Nancy Winters of Nevada; and a son, Mike McFarlin of Eldorado. He is also survived by several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Clifford is also survived by a sister, Beulah Orvick of Michigan.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Little.

Funeral services will be held at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home, Eldorado, at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2009 with the Rev. Russell Helton officiating. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to service time Wednesday at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home.
