Robert George Lambourn

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Robert George Lambourn, 68, of Harrisburg, passed away on Friday, Jan. 23, 2009, at his residence in Harrisburg.

He was born in Wenona on June 13, 1940, to the late George William and A. Louise (Wright) Lambourn.

Robert was an educator, the executive director of Pioneer Center of McHenry County, as well as an entrepreneur. He was an avid outdoorsman, beloved friend and neighbor; he enjoyed gardening and entertaining.

Surviving family members include a son, Michael Lambourn of McHenry; two daughters, Sarah (Mark) Drake of Rock Island and Laura (Tom) Campanella of Lake Villa; grandchildren, Onna, Caleb, and Aubrey Drake and Vincent and Nikko Campanella; and sisters, Ann, Evalyn, Bonnie, and Georgene.

Memorial services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 26, 2009, at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 26, 2009, at Reed Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
