Lucille Halter

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Lucille Halter, 91, Harrisburg, passed away at 10:23 p.m. Sunday, May 8, 2011, at Harrisburg Medical Center.

She was born March 31, 1920, in Golconda to the late Thomas Esco and Sarah Elizabeth (Schnake) Collier. On March 27, 1951, she married Earl Lee Halter and he preceded her in death Aug. 22, 2006.

Surviving family members include two children, Thomas (Debra) Halter of Kokomo, Ind., and Juanita (Lloyd) Belford of Herod; seven grandchildren, Dee (John) Rader of Rudement, Steven Belford of Harrisurg, Timothy Belford of Oklahoma City, Okla., Thomas Halter Jr. of Kokomo, Ind., Bryant (Tristan) Halter of Marion, Joey Halter of Harrisburg and Jennifer Halter of Kokomo, Ind.; 10 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; sister, Evelyn Schessler of Redland, Calif.; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers, Howard and Matthew Collier; and one sister, Elberta Ratliff.

Funeral services for Lucille Halter will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2011, at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg. The Rev. Stan Pennell will officiate. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Golconda. Visitation will be held 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at Reed Funeral Chapel.
