Cletus Lue (Downs) Lloyd

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Cletus Lue (Downs) Lloyd, 73, of Eldorado, died at 8:09 p.m. Sunday, June 5, 2011, at the Metropolis Nursing Home.

Cletus was born in New Haven on July 13, 1937, a daughter of the late Victoria (Merritt) and Phillip Downs.

She was a member of Restitution Church of God in Eldorado.

She worked as a seamstress from her home.

She was the wife of Richard Fred Lloyd, who preceded her in death.

Cletus is survived by a son, Shain (Jena) Lloyd, of Metropolis; two sisters, Phyllis Wilhelm of Chester and Nancy Hann of Terre Haute, Ind.; two grandchildren, Hannah Elizabeth Lloyd and Hayden Marshall Lloyd; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Lee Hale; and a sister, Mary Cathey.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home with Pastor Brian Atra officiating. Burial will be in Shaw Cemetery. Visitation is 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 7, 2011, at the funeral home.
