Jess Ann Logsdon

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Jess Ann Logsdon, 84, of Shawneetown, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 16, 2011, in Morganfield, Ky.

She was born Jan. 15, 1927, in Evansville, Ind., to the late Henry Gilbert and Jess Ethyl (Milnor) Karges. She was married to Joseph E. Logsdon III on Aug. 15, 1946, who preceded her in death in 1995.

She was a lifelong homemaker and mother of five children. She was also a member of D.A.R.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Madeline Louise in 1972; a brother, John M. Karges in 2004; and a sister, Catherine W. Wilson in 2009.

Surviving are Joseph Logsdon IV of Sevierville, Tenn., Jan Mernone of Greenwood, Ind., David L. Logsdon of Morganfield, Ky. and Kathy Logsdon of Grand Rapids, Mich.; and 10 grandchildren.

Services are to be held at a later date.

Memorial gifts may be made to the Harrisburg Public Library in Harrisburg.
