Margaret (Skelton) Browning

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Margaret (Skelton) Browning, 92, a resident of Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Galatia, died 2:35 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010, at her residence.

Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2010, at Dodd Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Allison officiating. Arrangements are in the charge of Watson Funeral Home, Eldorado.

She was born in Eldorado on June 10, 1918, to Ross and Mattie (Nichols) Kyle. She married Henry Browning, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by two daughters, Barbara (Dan) Gruppo of Harrisburg and Patricia (Carroll) Partain of Ewing; one brother, Ross Kyle Jr. of Albuquerque, N.M.; six grandchildren, Stephanie (John) Battles, Ray Brown, Christopher (Christine) Battles, Marlene (Kenny) Roberts, Charles (Christine) Partain and Julie Partain; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Wiladean; two brothers, Harold Kyle and Danny Kyle; and two sisters, Mabel Edwards and Pearlene Gross.

She was a homemaker and a member of Wesley Chapel Church.
