Linda Lee Bradford of Marion

Linda Lee Bradford, 64 years old, of Marion, Illinois, passed away at her home at 10:44 p.m. on March 17, 2020.

There will be a graveside service at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 23, 2020, at Herrin Cemetery in Herrin, Illinois. Arrangements are being prepared by Walker's Funeral Home in Carbondale. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, we are asking that only immediate family be at her graveside service in order to comply with the CDC guidelines on ceasing the spread of this virus.

Linda was born in Michigan City, Indiana, on Oct. 7, 1955. She married Gregory Bradford on December 2, 1992.

Linda spent most of her career as a waitress at many different restaurants in Indiana and Illinois.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents Charles McCay and Norma Gunter, her son Jason Wade McCay, her brothers, Charles McCay, Clarence McCay, and Michael McCay Sr., and her sister Jamie Holderfield (McCay).

Linda is survived by her husband Greg Bradford, sons James Sischo and Jonathon (Jaymie) Sischo, stepdaughter, Jamie Bradford, sisters Kesha (Brian) Davis, Deanna (Jason) Goff, and Crystal (Vince) Rowatt, her brother Michael (Lindsey) McCay Jr., as well her grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Linda was the type of person who never met a stranger. She was known for being extremely generous and a beacon of hope for a lot of friends and family members. She had a talent for cooking and preparing large meals for everyone in her family. She enjoyed fishing, camping, and being outdoors. She shared her deep love for animals with her dogs and loved them as if they were her children. Later in life Linda spent many hours conversing and playing Farmville with her family and Facebook friends.
