Reva Laverne Wallace of Harrisburg

Reva Laverne Wallace, age 85, of Harrisburg, passed away at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2019 at Saline Care Center in Harrisburg.

Reva was born on April 2, 1934 in Pope County to the late Coy and Lois (Williams) Harner. In December 1951 she married Lacey Wallace, who preceded her in death on March 1, 1987.

Reva enjoyed being active in sewing, reading and crafts. She was devoted to her family and church.

Reva was a member of Pankeyville Baptist Church where she was active in WMU and taught Sunday school for many years.

Reva is survived by her two children, daughter Sherrie (Earl) Miles of Harrisburg and her son, James N. (Janet) Wallace of Harrisburg; two grandchildren, John (Crystal) Miles of Harrisburg and Shai Spurlin of Harrisburg; one great-grandson, Jake Spurlin of Harrisburg, and one great- grandson on the way; sister-in-law, Norma Harner of Harrisburg; sister-in-law, Carolyn Sue Harner of Chattanooga, Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Reva was preceded in death by her brothers Nolen Harner and Allsie Harner.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 21, 2019 at Sunset Garden Cemetery with the Rev. Donnie Hughes officiating.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Pankeyville Baptist Church.
