David L. Molnar, formerly of Chester

David L. Molnar, 73, formerly of Chester, passed away while surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2019 in Bradenton, Florida.

He was born in Belleville to Joseph and Elizabeth (Williams) Molnar on Sept. 23, 1946. He was a dedicated teacher and coach for the Chester Grade School for more than 30 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a beloved father and grandfather. David was an avid explorer and enjoyed spending free time traveling.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his children, Matthew Molnar of Bradenton, Florida, Zachary (Rhonda) Molnar of Bradenton, Florida and Nathaniel (Nicole) Molnar of St. Genevieve, Missouri; his grandson, Sullivan Molnar; two sisters; one brother; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service at the Chester Grade School is pending, date and time TBA.
