Cheryl Lynne "Cheri" Stubbs

WENTZVILLE, Mo. -- Cheryl Lynne "Cheri" Stubbs, 71, passed away at 9:23 p.m. Monday, Jan. 23, 2017, in Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital in St. Peters. Missouri.

She was born May 30, 1945, in El Paso, Texas, the daughter of Donald Gray and Laura Katherine (Goforth) Link. She married Joseph Harvey Stubbs on Dec. 28, 1980, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 4, 2010.

Cheri was a hair stylist.

She was an avid reader and enjoyed working crossword puzzles. <br /> <br /> Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Dale Turner of Wentzville, Missouri; sister, Danni Wright of Suisun, California; and three grandchildren, Courtney Lynn and Dave Epstein, Lindsey Nichole Stefko and James Edward Adams.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Laura Link; husband, Joseph Stubbs; and sister, Donna Kae Azevedo. <br /> <br /> Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, in Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi with Pastor Dave Nolen officiating. Burial will be in Westwood Cemetery in Shawneetown.

Memorial contributions may be made in Cheri's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and will be accepted at the funeral home.
