Hazel Pearl Bramlet

Hazel Pearl Bramlet, age 88, of Carrier Mills, passed away at 12:30 PM, Sunday, June 10, 2016, at her residence.

<span>Hazel was born on September 19, 1927, in Saline County to the late Harve and Ardena (Trovillion) Clore. On November 24, 1946, she married Robert Dale Bramlet and he survives. She was a graduate of Carrier Mills High School and a member of Faith Chapel since 1964. </span>

<span>Surviving family members include her husband: Robert Bramlet of Carrier Mills; son: David Bramlet and wife Pam of Carrier Mills; daughter: Beth Kaid and husband Terry of Carrier Mills; five grandchildren: Matthew Trovillion Bramlet and wife Nicole of Peoria, IL, Meredith Wenzel and husband Daniel of Harrisburg, Alicia Kaid-Bugg of Evansville, IN, Holly Wenzel and husband Ben of Jeffersonville, IN, and Tyler Kaid of Boone, NC, eleven great-grandchildren: Elias, Micah, Lydia and Jude Bramlet, Hannah, Jacob, Ethan and Caleb Wenzel, Levi Bugg, Cameron and Christopher Wenzel; sister: Edith Linder of Burbank, CA, sister: Virginia Goeltzer and husband Herb of Marion, IL, brother: Frank Clore and wife Marcheta of Harrisburg; brother: Tom Clore and wife Anita of Dallas, TX.</span>

<span>Hazel was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Alberta (Claude) Piersall and Carrie (Ernest) Ammon, brother, Harvey (Jerry) Clore and sister-in-law, Josephine (Earl) Crabb.</span>

<span>Funeral services for Hazel Bramlet will be held at 10 AM, Friday, July 15, 2016, at Faith Chapel west of Harrisburg. Rev. Chuck DePriest will officiate and will be assisted by Daniel Wenzel. Burial will follow in Sunset Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 PM, Thursday, July 14, 2016, at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg and from 9 to 10 AM, Friday, July 15, 2016, at Faith Chapel. Memorials may be made to Faith Chapel or Hospice of Southern Illinois and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
