Billy Lee Hutchison, 78, Harrisburg

Billy Lee Hutchison, age 78, of Harrisburg, passed away at 10:15 PM, Monday, January 4, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his family and loved ones.

He was born on March, 4, 1937 in Hardin County to the late William Ray and Blanche Dunn Hutchison. On October 10, 1959 he married Hazel Seets and she survives in Harrisburg.

In addition to his wife, Hazel, Billy is survived by a son: Roger Hutchison of Harrisburg; daughter: Billie Sanders of Harrisburg; son: Stan and wife Lisabeth Hutchison of Stonefort; son: Kelly and wife Trisha Hutchison of Robinson, IL; daughter: Wendy Griffith of Harrisburg; daughter: Kim Powers, of Harrisburg; 11 grandchildren: Casey and husband Derek Chappell, Chelsea Griffith, Devon and husband Kyle Harvey, Taylor Griffith, Zach Hutchison, Max Hutchison, Whitney and husband Jordan Ward, Lexi Hutchison, Brooklyn Keown, Dalton Hutchison and Noah Hutchison; 3 great-grandchildren: Paisley, Ridge and Lennon Chappell; 3 brothers: Roy Hutchison and Ronnie Hutchison and Gary and wife Sue Hutchison all of Harrisburg; sister: Brenda and husband Larry Moad of Harrisburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters: Vivian Hubbard and Dorothy Loy and brothers: W.R., Charles and Donnie Hutchison and a granddaughter: Ashlea

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Friday January 8, 2016 at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg. Stan Hutchison and Bills best friend Art Gibbons will officiate ; burial will follow in Sunset Garden Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 AM to 1 PM, Friday at Reed Funeral Chapel. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Southern Illinois. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
