Second installment of property taxes due Tuesday

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[The second installment of real estate taxes is due in the Treasurer's office Tuesday Sept. 7, Treasurer Danny Ragan said.

There is a 1 1/2 percent late fee after the deadline. The late fee has increased to 3 percent for taxes due in the first installment, which was July 29.

Monday is Labor Day; the Courthouse will be closed. Taxpayers may use the drop box in the basement landing on Monday.
