Forest slowly digging out from the inland hurricane
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[<font><font class="swb"><font size="2" face="sans-serif"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: sans-serif;">According to information from the forest, the River to River Trail in Bald Knob Wilderness from </span></font><font size="2" face="sans-serif"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: sans-serif;">Bald Knob Road</span></font><font size="2" face="sans-serif"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: sans-serif;"> to Hutchins Creek is clear; the Bridgeman Trail from the River to River Trail in Bald Knob Wilderness to the Lyerla Chapel Trail is clear as is the Lyerla Chapel Trail; and the River to River Trail from Hutchins Creek to </span></font><font size="2" face="sans-serif"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: sans-serif;">Pine Hills Road</span></font><font size="2" face="sans-serif"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: sans-serif;"> sustained major damage with 198 trees across the trail. The switchback in the Hutchins Creek to Pine Hills Road is cleared and the Forest Service is beginning to repair the trail tread.
Hutchins Creek Trail is cleared. Pomona Natural Bridge Trail is cleared; Little Grand Canyon Trail out of the lower parking area is cleared to the water fall, Little Grand Canyon Trail from the upper parking lot is cleared for about the first 1/4 mile and there was a total of 148 trees down on the paved part of the trail. There has been no survey yet of damage in the canyon.
Cove Hollow Trail has received some clearing, but is still in pretty rough shape. Cedar Lake Trail from </span></font><font size="2" face="sans-serif"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: sans-serif;">Pomona Boat Dock Road</span></font><font size="2" face="sans-serif"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: sans-serif;"> to the </span></font><font size="2" face="sans-serif"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: sans-serif;">Landreth Rd</span></font><font size="2" face="sans-serif"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: sans-serif;"> has been cleared. This week the Forest Service was working on the Little Cedar Loop Trail, including the River to River Trail section of that trail. The Crissenberry Dam Trail at Kincaid Lake is covered with trees and hundreds of feet of damaged trail tread, according to reports from the forest.</span></font> <font size="2" face="sans-serif"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: sans-serif;">
