Obituary: Donald William Trail

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Donald William Trail, 83, of Eldorado, passed away at 11:15 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3, 2012, at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.

Don was born in Eldorado on Jan. 7, 1929, a son of the late Martha (Duckworth) and Gilbert Trail.

He attended Eldorado First Church of God.

He worked as a coal miner at Peabody prior to retirement.

Don is survived by his former wife Paula (Wilson) Anderson of Galatia; special friend, Barbara Fals of Eldorado; a daughter, Darlene (Len) Bruce of Marion; a son, Dennis Trail of Galatia; a sister, Margaret Little of Ohio; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Moore, a sister, Ruby Cooper; and three brothers, Albert, Orlando and Gilbert.
