"Winter Wonderland" to be theme for annual Methodist Women's Bazaar
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[The 76th annual Methodist Women's Bazaar will be held Thursday, Dec. 1 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by a dinner from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The theme this year is "Winter Wonderland" and the event is a fundraiser for mission work.
There will be booths set up in the Wesley Center at the First United Methodist Church in Harrisburg. A variety of items will be available for purchase, including baked goods, dishcloths, table centerpieces and a candy booth.
The dinner, which costs $8 for adults and $4 for children, will include a chicken pie, green beans, sweet potatoes, cranberry relish and apple pie. Carryout is available by calling 618-253-7023. Last year, the women served over 300 dinners and are hoping for an equivalent turnout this year.
