Michael Anthony Storto, 43, 217 Calhoun St., Equality, was arrested 3:07 a.m. Saturday on charges of home invasion, residential burglary, attempted criminal sexual assault and unlawful restraint. He remains held at the Saline County Detention Center on $15,000 cash bond.

Neighbors called about a possible problem at a residence on state Route 13 near the Gallatin County line, according to Chief Deputy Maj. Todd Fort. Deputies went to the residence and found the lights out and no sound or movement. Eventually they heard a scream, so deputies forced entry into the residence, Fort said.

Storto was taken into custody shortly after deputies entered the residence.

Storto also violated an order of protection by entering the residence, Fort said.
