Norris City man hurt after driving semi rig into ditch
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[A Norris City man was treated for minor injured after driving his semi tractor-trailer off of state Route 1 and into a ditch about 5 a.m. Tuesday.
A preliminary crash investigation indicated Jeremy H. Wheeler, 30, Norris City, was driving north on state Route 1 about 400 feet north of Chapman Road when for unknown reasons drove off the right side of the road, into a small ditch and the vehicle turned onto its side, according to a release from Illinois State Police District 19 in Carmi.
Wheeler was taken to Ferrell Hospital by Gallatin County Ambulance with minor injuries, according to the release.
Bishops Towing and Rick's Towing removed the 2009 Volvo semi tractor-trailer from the crash scene.
