Chief says pay attention to signs at schools

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Harrisburg Police Chief Bob Smith asks people driving to the schools to pay close attention to signs as some rules have changed, particular those referring to designated drop off zones.

He also reminds people of the one-way streets in front of schools that are in effect during the times school begins and ends.

At West Side Primary School Smith said parking is at a premium with residents, school staff and parents picking up children.

Some parents park between McKinley Street and the sidewalk to pick up their children, but this leaves ruts in the grass and is not allowed.
