The Harrisburg School Board will have a full agenda at the regular meeting 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 16.

Superintendent Dennis Smith will present an updated cash-flow analysis to board members. The district’s cash flow has taken on increased importance as budgeted state payments have become delinquent. State payments now lag behind by $654,482, according to the board’s pre-meeting packet. The biggest chunk is $128,804 owed to the Transportation Fund, followed closely by $103,500 owed to the Early Childhood Block Grant. The district has to make up for those late payments from other funds, which causes a shortfall overall.

Board members will also consider a proposal to cut costs in nursing services and consider any changes in the straw poll votes taken last month on possible budget reductions.
