Due to a source error, an earlier version of the story, “SIC makes several budget cuts at Thursday meeting,” printed in the online edition of the Daily Register/Daily Journal, wrongly reported the layoffs of staff at SIC. Four faculty members were laid off and an administrative position and clerical position were reduced to part-time.
