Lenten fish fry delights hundreds

HARRISBURG - The annual Lenten Fish Fry hosted by the Harrisburg Knights of Columbus and Auxiliary at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Harrisburg delighted hundreds of hungry diners Friday night.

This was the second week of the fish frys, which continue 4:30 to 7 p.m. each Friday until April 3 at the church's parish center.

The meal is $10, and includes 3 pieces of fried fish, potatoes, corn nuggets and hush puppies, plus a drink. Desserts are available for an extra $1 each.

The fish fry is the primary annual fundraiser for the Knights of Columbus and the Ladies Auxiliary. Funds raised are used to help needs of the church's parishes, youth groups and charitable projects in the community.
