Collaborative Christmas Concert

HARRISBURG - Musicians of all types and ages gathered together Sunday afternoon for a holiday concert at Southeastern Illinois College.

Dubbed the "Collaborative Christmas Concert," the performance featured the Southeastern Illinois College Concert Choir, the SIC Community Chorus, the Harrisburg High School Jazz Band and the HHS Concert Band.

SIC music director Cory Garmane, who directs the concert choir, community chorus director Tim Green, and HHS band director Hannah Drake shared time conducting.

The audience, which filled just about every available seat, rose to its feet at the final song, a performance by all three musical groups of Handel's "Hallelujah Chorus."
