Ferrell Hospital names Kevin Fowler its new CFO

ELDORADO - Ferrell Hospital named Kevin Fowler its new chief financial officer effective Sept. 30, according to a news release from the hospital.

"We are excited to welcome Kevin to Ferrell Hospital at this time of significant growth for the organization," Ferrell Hospital CEO Alisa Coleman said. "With our $34 million construction project about halfway through completion, and our recent installation of Epic, the future at Ferrell is very bright. I look forward to Kevin's expertise helping us maximize these opportunities."

Coleman said Epic is the nation's leading electronic medical records system.

Fowler brings his expertise from a diverse financial background with him. He holds a master's in business administration degree and is a certified public accountant. Fowler also has served as a chief compliance officer and director of finance and reimbursement in past jobs.

According to the news release, Fowler has worked for the past five years as an executive healthcare consultant, working with organizations to optimize revenue cycle management and enhance strategic growth.
