Lapsit Storytime: 10:30-11:30 a.m. Jan. 11, for ages birth to 3.

January Story Hour: 10-11 a.m. on Jan. 26.

Library Board meeting: 7 p.m. Jan. 21.

Check for Cash and I-Cash: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 31. Look for lost assets with help from the Illinois Comptroller's Office and Illinois Treasurer's Office.

GED classes: 11 a.m.-5 p.m. every Tuesday in January.

Computer/Tech help: 1-3 p.m. every Wednesday in January

Lego Club: 2:30-3:30 p.m. every Wednesday in January, except Jan. 16. For grades K-5th.

December reading milestone

Congrats to last month's "1,000 Books Before Kindergarten" reader on her reading milestone.

200 books: Callyn Ward, age 3, daughter of Caleb and Megan Ward of Steeleville.

To enroll your children in the "1,000 Books Before Kindergarten" program, call the library. Every child who reaches a reading milestone receives a prize.
