Chester students recognized for self-management skills

Chester Grade School students were recognized March 8 for demonstrating the character trait of having good self-management skills. The awards were part of the ongoing CGS Character Education Program, "Superheroes with Great Character."

Each honoree received a certificate and his or her name was announced over the CGS Public Address System and on the CGS television station. The Character Program is coordinated by Cindy Ponder, school social worker from the Perandoe Special Education District. Ponder is assisted by Dr. Jim Beers.
