Nothing like your own homemade ice cream

The Harrisburg Library held an ice cream-making class Wednesday afternoon to coincide with early dismissal at the Harrisburg schools. The kids turned milk, sugar and vanilla extract into personal batches of vanilla ice cream using plastic containers filled with ice and rock salt.
