Galatia student wins writing contest

Galatia Grade School's Christian McDonald recently won a Storyworks writing contest. Students throughout the United States submitted entries in this contest.

Christian, who is a sixth-grader, received recognition of his work on the Storyworks website, as well as a journal and letter of congratulations from Lauren Tarshis, author of the "I Survived" series.

He is a student in Brandi Fletcher's language arts class. His homeroom teacher is Shawna Moulton.
